Who we are

Hi, I’m Dani, a proud rescue dog mom to two little long-haired dachshunds who run my heart (and my household).

Royal Canine Dental began the way many meaningful things do — out of love.

My oldest rescue, Nico, has always been sensitive and easily overwhelmed, especially in clinical settings. Even with a wonderful veterinarian, routine visits could be deeply stressful for him. As his mom, it broke my heart to watch that fear. I wanted to do everything I could to keep him healthy, including protecting his oral health — while also honoring his comfort and emotional well-being.

Then came Bowie — tiny, brave, and full of personality. When he joined our family, I found myself asking the same question many devoted dog parents do: Is there a way to be proactive about dental care without always relying on anesthesia when it isn’t medically necessary?

So I decided to learn.

I worked alongside a veterinarian and experienced veterinary technicians who trained me in professional, non-anesthetic dental cleaning techniques. I studied canine oral health, safety protocols, and stress-aware handling. I practiced patiently, intentionally, and always under guidance — because when it comes to our dogs, “good enough” is never good enough.

What I discovered was powerful: with the right approach, dogs can have their teeth cleaned gently, safely, and comfortably — without fear, without force, and without unnecessary procedures.

At home, we call my boys “the Royals.” And they are. They receive the very best care I can give them — not because they’re perfect, but because they’re family.

Royal Canine Dental was created for other devoted dog parents who feel the same way.

This service is designed to complement, not replace, your trusted veterinarian. We work in partnership with your regular vet care, providing preventative, non-anesthetic dental cleanings that help maintain oral health between veterinary visits. We do not perform extractions or surgical procedures. Instead, we focus on gentle, thorough surface cleaning to support long-term dental wellness.

My promise is simple:
Your dog will be treated with patience, respect, and the same tenderness I give my own.

Because they aren’t “just dogs.”
They’re family. And family deserves royal care.
